The Artists’ Loft School offers a fun and nurturing environment for students to learn, create and share in the visual arts. We are privileged to be part of the Charleston arts community, one of the most vibrant art environments in the country.
From pre-school to college and upwards, our goal is to provide the community with an open studio for self-expression, communication, exploration, imagination, cultural and historical knowledge and a place to have a great time! We encourage creativity, new ideas and individuality in each student.

•Pre-School Art Class: The Petite Artist! A time for parents, caregivers and children to
share, create and have fun.

•After School Art: ASA concludes your child’s day with instruction in drawing, painting and sculpture.

•My Studio: A night out with old friends or to make new ones. Come and relax, make art and have some fun!

•Portfolio Preparation: For magnet or college-bound students needing individual direction in developing a strong portfolio.

•Home Schooled Art Class: Instruction in the elements of art using Art History as a link to a comprehensive arts education. A time to get to enjoy the company of others schooled at home.

•Adult Art Classes: From the novice to the experienced artist, The Artists’ Loft has a variety of classes and gatherings to encourage and to enhance the creative experience.

•Summer Art Camps: A morning camp for those 4-5 focusing on diverse artists, styles and mediums with each day holding something new. Art Explorers is followed by an afternoon camp for 6-12 year olds where each week is a different type of art is explored in depth.
